VISUAL ARCHITECT

I started in education, working as an Education Specialist. The visual eye was always there, and I began designing as an outlet while I was teaching, until it stopped being a side thing.

In grad school at Harvard, I learned to fuse the two on purpose. What I care about hasn't changed since: visual storytelling that makes information digestible and, more than that, retainable. It's not enough for something to look good, or even to be clear in the moment. I want people to hold onto it.

Outside of my day job, I run brand and creative direction for Cornerstone Pilates, my wife's studio in Jersey City. I designed and built the site, and I still approve everything that goes out, working with our social media manager and studio team so the brand holds together across everyone who touches it.

That's the difference I work toward: design that doesn't just decorate information but helps someone actually learn. Learning and visual craft, intertwined from the start rather than bolted together.
